Anonymous, 16 May 2021Yes, I found these earbuds by searching for the best audio ... moreIt is not 'dedicated'. It's a system on chip with Bluetooth receiver, dac, amplifier etc on a single chip because it's an soc. Without that the tws wouldn't work, just like other tws'.
Xiaomi saying it as dedicated instead of just qcc5151 is just jargon.

They are the first ones to use the chip. Glad to see a company spend the extra two dollars and use the highest quality component

Anonymous, 14 May 2021I would never pay more than 20 for a Bluetooth headset Dude once you invest into the 100 to 200us headphones or earphones..you would be mind blown by the quality for that price

xiaomi tws audio quality is terrible whether high end or low end and i doubt this new one would be any different

Tyfyh, 13 May 2021Gone the times when Xiaomi = cheap good stuff. Let's ... moreI kinda agree, but if you compare the price of these buds, for what they offer ... Apple is 250+, Sony 200+, Samsung with Buds Pro is 200+, they are offering a good value for money (125 for all of this) but that's not the case for ALL or their product imho. See the LCD/panel problem on redmi 8 and 9 series ... Okay that's Redmi but in the past, Redmi was fire on quality/value for money. Now ? Not so much, and same applies for Xiaomi too.

Let's hope BBK with Realme will push them a bit but with the lack of Huawei, I don't think it will happens

That tws from lypertek is pretty great too. It satisfied my audiophile friend who uses it quite a lot.

Most of the money is spend on the features like anc and gestures and stuff. I tried it and found the sound too bassy (or the mids were recessed or a combination of both) to my liking, eq may have solved the issue.
But if you compare it to wired stuff they'll lose out. Iems from etymotic, sennheiser, shure etc are miles ahead. The whole chifi stuffs available are another thing. They bought good audio to very very affordable prices.
The sony is still great piece of tech though. Nothing beats the convenience of tws (as long as it is charged).
