But like any other OLED panel on midrange phone it exhibits frequency shift on tilting, it's super far away from producing true white etc. Difference between OLEDS on midrange phones and OLEDS on flagship phones is like night and day just like how it was the case with LCD.

Starting with XZ Premium they have made the breakthrough and their phones have been getting better every year since then.

Oled isn't a HRR panel,... moreE4 doesn't mean it's quality panel, it's simply a new process how Samsung makes OLED panels which makes them cheaper and more affordable for Chinese ODM factories which currently buy OLED panels from Chinese manufacturers. Poco F3 doesn't have Samsung panel, it has local Chinese panel and it's really craptastic despite being OLED and 120Hz. Display on F3 is not that good, Sony's probably won't be good either.

[deleted post]Xiaomi flagships are actually not bad. They do have some good flagships for sure, but their mid-range and low-range phones aren't that good. This phone is a good deal, with everything you would want in a phone: easy to hold, durable, light, good battery, resistances, headphone jack, etc.
It's kinda sad to see the 3.5mm gone on most flagships. Wired is still better than wireless and it doesn't matter what people say. They might not be as convenient as wireless, but are always more reliable.

The stock camera is already good. Gcam just makes it even better extracting the most out of the 108mp sensor. Stock cam on UW is bad on most budget flagships. Gcam turns things around and actually makes it usable in low light.

The Snapdragon 690 would barely compete with competing phones of that time. The camera and refresh rate of screen would be super outdated. Who knows if Sony might exist or get shut down like LG.
The Poco F3 with 120hz Amoled and Snapdragon 870 Will still be better than most mid rangers of that time.

Looking at the comment section, I see how Chinese manufacturers getting nervous about new Xperia releases. They got used to thinking that putting Ferrari engine into Great Wall body makes it a supercar. Never heard "well balanced" term, probably :-)
