I didn't read much about the specifications, but design wise this is just wow! I really like it!
But if there's no SD card slot, I'm not interested, no matter how great are the design or the rest of the specs.
NO SD card slot = Never going to buy it!

You can design your phone look like what ever you like by just buying a wrap plastic to cover the rear of the phone. Calling a paintjob as design is weird. Only design i see in this is the camera island that is just a large stripe as a large bump.

Pros:
Different
Easy to hold
Doesn't slip off couch
Angled towards you
No stupid camera wobble
Cons:
Destroys edge of pocket
Shatters on the ground after catching on loose threads around your destroyed pocket

I'm actually interested in that Pixel Watch. Not the actual Pixel 6 itself. Google really needs to fix Wear OS. I do hope that hump on the Pixel 6 is some periscope zoom. Definitely the most dramatic design change in its history.
Once I'm done using the iPhone 12 mini for 2 years, my next upgrade will be a Pixel. Probably by the time we get to Pixel 8. I believe I'll likely stay with the Pixel line until Google stops making them. Just enough annoyances with iOS that makes me want to stick to Pixel for life.
I'm typing with my Pixel 3 now and it's just smooth. Battery life is surprisingly still good after 2 years. Hardly notice any degradation. But I love to use it because of Android Pie and wireless charging. Never really had major issues with it except when it turns off because it overheats easily in my car.

I don't understand why the camera hump needs to be so thick. It's way out of proportion with current phone designs. The only explanation that would make sense, maybe, is if they are going to put a huge 1/1.2 sensor in it or something like that.
Anyway, I have mixed feelings. I like the design, except I wish the camera hump wasn't so thick. The colors I don't like. I hope there's one that's just black with a matte back. But I am curious.
The best thing will be if the in-house Google chipset means they can continue to provide security updates for five years and more, like Apple does.
