      Apple can easily kill WindowsOS by making a few changes to iPadOS. It is almost there by at least 80%. In the coming years the iPad will become the standard computing device replacing the entry and middle level pc laptops. When it comes to CPU power any non pro iPad kills the performance of entry lever or middle level PCs. When it comes to quality any non pro iPad is premium with metallic body unlike entry or middle level PCs that are usually plastic. When it comes to screen resolution any non Pro iPad is typically better than the kinds of screens you see in entry or middle level PCs. The only thing Apple needs to fix is to make iPad OS a little better and Windows laptops below 800 dollars will be a thing of the past.

Even some of the die-hard Apple fans are saying that the most common pro app Office 365 does not run as good in iPadOS as in Windows! Let alone some video encoders. Oh well, Apple will finally do it making your bank empty for all "pro" apps after buying an arguably expensive iPad Pro.

                    13" convertible or larger? Sorry, I'm not in. In this size you're killing the possibility of using it as a tab, which is why people buy something other than a laptop.

                    IMHO (YMMV) no 2in1 with a detachable keyboard or with a convertible form factor should have a screen more than 10-12". So, the only 2in1 from a reputed vendor that qualifies is Surface Go 2 or iPad 11 Pro. iPad arguably has better hardware between the two, but comes with iOS, which is a walled garden as far as productivity is concerned even after the release of the latest iPadOS. Surface Pro could be okay if and only if it could be light enough as a tab.
