Instagram will soon let you create posts on desktop

One of the most requested features might finally come true.

Instagram had built their own unique platform where users can only post on mobile devices, and now they're destroying it by letting users to post on desktop. If I can post on desktop, then it's no longer an instagram.

        Actually, you can post from desktop. Just turn the browser in Android mode and viola.

I edit contents using Photoshop and Illustrator which I thing are more versatile to *some* extent than using mobile device apps, not to mention it's way more comfortable to work on a proper desk. Then I send the results to a colleague (same age as me) that handles the social media postings and do it using his computer, EXCEPT Instagram. This will be much appreciated.

                    lmao!!! it took them until mid 2021 to implement this option. hilarious!

                      Sadly, those use desktop nowadays are considered old time people or something and they don't bother with stupid social platforms like Insta. So this was not necessary. Keep catering to them who actually use your stupid platform and don't mind them who don't care.

                        I am glad that they put effort into one feature that would be used by maximum 20% of their users, instead of trying to use the native camera on android... Anyway, the more features, the better. Congrats

                          I have never accessed this Intsagram, but it seems silly not to have desktop posting capabilities! Makes you wonder what are these people thinking…

                            Noone cares anyways

                            For artists, artstation and artfol is better.
                            Hell i even recommend twitter due to the new "tipping" update

                            Ig reels is bad, tbh tiktok is better if it wasn't filled wirh content theft on the fyp.

                            For the filters and stuff, i'd prefer snapchat


                            Anyways i recommend staying as far as you could from instagram, the only app i really use is the "threads" app, instagram is really addicting and its also pretty bad for mental health despite instagram trying to "fix" it.
