For Anandtech to state that their analysis is based on a certain context means that it's not encompassing. And to end it, they were never conclusive, were they? SEEMS you couldn't comprehend what you read. Yes, go ahead and look up what "seems" mean. Joke!

I hardly ever hold beliefs as they tend to come in the way of rationality, which is evident in you and a lot of people here. I have not even owned a Samsung and Exynos phone since 2016. Lol.

Anandtech was professional enough not to make a conclusive statement. They could have made a bold claim, but they didn't, because they didn't have all the facts needed to make one. But not all you fanboys, who think you know better. Spreading assumptions and unfounded claims.

And, I can't remember saying that TSMC isn't the market leader, or that they've not been fabbing the better SoC. You're bringing an argument that is a no—argument. Hoping to achieve what? Logical fallacy.

    Hop off!

SpiritWolf, 18 May 2021Just read the darn article before arrogantly discarding it.... moreWhat is there to read when what they said is based on a certain context(s), and also not certain? So, why make concrete claims when there aren't concrete proofs? Only one arrogant here is you, mate.

a better metric than nanometer is MTr/mm²
                        TSMC: N7=91,2 MTr/mm²; N6=108,2 MTr/mm²; N5=171,3 MTr/mm²
                        Samsung: 7LPP=95,1 MTr/mm²; 6LPP/LPE=112,8 MTr/mm²; 5LPE=126,9 MTr/mm²
Samsungs 5LPE is therfore superior to N6 but still lacks way behind N5.

TSMC are a market leader and their silicone is of far greater quality than any other competitors bar Intel, which is why almost every single manufacturer in the world, no matter their specialty, buy their silicone needs from TSMC.
Also the shitty battery life and throttling issues on Galaxy phones that run on Exynos is mainly due to the poor quality of Samsung's silicone which proves the theory of whoever wrote that article. TSMC > Samsung.

So basically, a 6nm 780G. I wonder if Qualcomm do that because of the potential threat coming from Mediatek's recently-announced Dimensity 900 chipset.
