None of Apple's AirPods or HomePods support lossless audio

Even plugging in the AirPods Max with a cable doesn't work.

I still believe that Apple may show new airpods without bluetooth at all. If they will replace it with UWB - they will be able to stream lossless audio with video (iGlasses?), it may use less battery, you will be able to find each headphone like airtag, and no one else will be able to offer such headphones for iPhone

Don't worry. It will come in about 3 years after the technology is used. Just like everything else with the fruit.

This is why most devices do not have it.

To get the true lossless audio quality, you really have to go wired. No matter how good a modern Bluetooth audio codec might be, it will never beat a hardware-level analogue-to-digital audio converter. That is why the audio quality from flagship-grade LG smartphones is still unbeatable to this day.
