They can simply produce a new phone with mildly different specs a few months later and easily forgot the previous generation phone they launched earlier. Just how many Chinese phones ever receive long enough OS updates in the first place? It's very little. That is why I avoid Chinese brands because of their OS update policy. Only OnePlus give real attention to it but it's not used to be like before nowadays.

And no, before you make any MIUI-related comments, UI update is NOT OS update.

Even the S21 Ultra 5G doesn't float my boat either because of the noise reduction effect, especially at long zoom. So there is still no definite winner for flagship-grade smartphone camera performance right now.
