The Reno 5pro is so expensive for what you get in China. The cameras are midrange at best (a cheap omnivision OV64b sensor as the main sensor and 8mp ultrawide). No dual speakers. It's got one of the worst price to performance ratios of any phone in China. The Reno 6 pro is basically going to be the same apart from an upgraded processor. The pro+ models of the are the only ones worthwhile as at least they have a substantially better camera set ups. These phones are sold mainly offline in smaller Chinese cities to consumers who don't really care about specs but want a light phone that looks good.

Can they just go back to semi-annual release cycle instead of like every 3-4 months.
Since by the time this launches in int'l markets, it's successor would already be leaking & about to launch in china.
Not that they upgrade a whole lot every gen, but then what's the point of re-releasing & flooding the market with the same specs after a few months other than to make money
