I am not ignorant. Just have my own experience as a guy who works with phones and Samsung PLS TFT is not even close to the best IPS LCD out there. Response time and viewing angles are not that good on PLS even Samsung market them as superior to IPS. Thats why I said I dont buy that marketing ploy of Samsung like they are generally better than their IPS counterpart. You have obviously informed your self in theory, but theory is one thing and practicallity another.
I suggest you to go to your local phone shop to check that theory you copy pasted. Peace!

I have now the Samsung A71 for about a year and
Before the A20 and A30. I use my phone intensely and using it for gaming and it's perfect for me. I like to have a S series galaxy but the difference in price with what i Have is much too big but i don't think it's so much better. It's all about the cam and making videos in 8K and i don't really use my camera's for shooting videos and i don't take pics.
The F series is redundant. There are already enough similar Phones by Samsung for a budget price but GPU, renderer and screen quality is also good.

There are plenty of displays in the market which are going by the name of IPS but are actually PLS. You don't know it unless the company says specifically or some expert reviewers review it.

So, what is your issue ?
They don't make IPS at all.
So, what you see other brand marketing as IPS from Samsung is actually PLS.
For example, Sony X800H uses PLS panel.

I dont buy that story from Samsung that their PLS is better than IPS. Its not even close to the best IPS out there in color and viewing angles. The only thing they have better over any IPS is that they are way cheaper to produce and they consume less power. There are some more pros and cons of each but those two are among the most important ones for average Joe.

Secondly Samsung PLS has better viewing angle than IPS.
Samsung doesn't produce IPS panel. Their IPS equivalent is called PLS.
