In that case, many Garmin watches also support offline music and podcasts from Spotify.

Convel, 23 May 2021The official Spotify app on Wear OS is currently also just ... moreOn Samsung watches you can download playlists, but still limited storage. You just need to connect to the phone once a month, so it can refresh the songs. I think it started with the gear s3, but I'm not sure if the older watches had it. Only had from gear s3.

At Google I/O 2021 they did, however, announce that offline capabilities are coming, without specifying a timeframe. Unofficially, there is a Spotify Lite client mod you can sideload, Spotify MOL.

Been an option on android, not apple, units for ages now. The only problem is the tiny storage on watches. My 90s playlist takes 9gb downloaded. But my watch only have 4gb storage.
