G30 does NOT support 5G, VoLTE or CDMA and only International 2G, 3G, & 4G GSM which rules out AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, & their many subcontractors like Mint, Ting, Boost, Tracfone, etc. GSM carriers AT&T & T-Mobile no longer provide 2G & 3G network service, requiring GSM phones to have VoLTE (voice over LTE) in order to make & receive phone calls. Google Fi & maybe a few others still provide limited 2G & 3G GSM calling & texting service but it will eventually stop in a few years and this phone will only have Wifi a/b/g/n/ac dual band for connectivity

Bought mine from Amazon UK for £159 with 128Gb. So it is about to be available in the USA for twice the price and half the the RAM. Makes a change from being the other way round!

Looks like Moto is screwing USA the same way Samsung screwed Asia & Europe with their Exynos processor and OnePlus screwed India with their 2 5G bands only gimmick.
