No microkernel OS can run Linux based monolith OS apps natively. It'll likely (or rather, certainly, since there's no other way) have a Android compatibility layer/integrated Android emulator, like Harmony does.

      Ok. Here's a run down.

Harmony OS is obviously an attempt to replace google. It's parent company CEO just announced it should be a software company.

Google can easily afford to move everything to a be OS, and even custom write a lot of the drivers. Without an open source license, it gives Google custom control.

The be Arm Realm, I have to look into, but is probably an old sandboxing idea, and no where near my own technology proposal for privacy. The privacy mode in realms just merely hide the spyware totally (that I any tracking) and protects itself from opening up the OS, and I security scanning, while at the same time, wait for it, .. wait for it, it has to be setup initially, totally exposing it's security to certain sources, and any downloaded modifications then are visible.

I support the government having limited ability to monitor things for security, not third parties. I think the new OS is a great idea, and we might get devices on it in parallel to android. I'm sick of having to send in reports on bugs and Android to google. It was not a great OS, hence various devices from Google used something else. What I was developing could work on most basic wrist watch, toaster, or supercomputer, very hard design work (the key). We been going through some very amateurish stuff, hopeful the new OS can be used to go past that, to a new deterministic future. But from Google's comments, maybe there are not going be parallel devices, maybe this is a testbed, or is going be transformed into a third OS. We were all suppose to move to chrome is by now, so that might be due to be replaced. It will be exciting, as Harmony OS, might zb out much if the market and then be left as Google introduces something better. All told, neither side might be to happy.

It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

This is what HarmonyOS is? A microkernel based operating system that can run Android Apps natively? Huawei may be beating Google in its development.
