You can't expect games that run on the PS4 Pro at 200w to look the same when they're running on a system that has a two and a half watt power budget (although it's amazing that they look as good as they do given the constraints). However much more powerful the new Switch ends up being, it's not going to compete graphics-wise with the other consoles, and it's not meant to.

I don't care. Get some crazy cooling in there and bump the CPU. I'm tired of buying games that look like a blurry mess or have 27fps. I need that CPU because:
My Hero One's Justice 2 (17fps, sometimes 5fps)
Samurai Showdown (fps drops, blurry)
Immortals Phenyx Rising (26fps)
Mortal Kombat 11 (fame drops, blurry)
Witcher 3 (blurry mess)
Apex Legends (do I need to explain)
Crash Team Racing (blurry mess)
NBA 2K (30fps is a joke)

The xbox console is probably better than both nintendo and sony in terms of overall media consumption, bc of that im probably gonna buy the series x instead bc its an overall better system for media consumption, nintendo is really great with the games but is really bad at online play and being able to play virual console games (i really wanted gb/gba/gbc :C) while the sony is kore know for their movie games, yeah i've only played TLoU and probably ratched and clank on the psp , but they're really nice games, even if the xbox wins in terms of media consumtion
I am NOT fanboying, i just forgot to put some context so sorry if i made this long essay :)

The Switch has sold more than 84 million units, and it's a given that it'll sell 100 million units by the end of this year. Nintendo is struggling to keep up with the demand.

Yeah it's a bit old but still new enough that the handheld screen should not lose connection with the console itself and the non-existent support for that model already is a huge turn off. Probably less than 100 hours on the system and it failed.
Meanwhile the various xbox's in my house are problem free. Plus, with Samsung partnering up with Microsoft and utilizing the cloud based gaming option I see it as a definite rival for Nintendo's portables.
Don't get me wrong, I used to be 100% Nintendo, now it's less than 1%.

Asphalt 4 on the dsi ran pretty well with pretty decent graphics, and the 3ds had RE revelations which had great graphics and ran at a locked 30fps too.
The switch has great power for a handheld back on launch, as games went more advanced graphically, rhe hqrdware is pretty dated but i think dlss can fix it all. I just hope that the new switch supports full global illumination and dlss, thats it, prolly 128gb storage is also cool

If someone made the games truly available for phones, switch would be beaten on every point. Because of the old hardware.

Expect in CPU power something like A78 levels while in GPU something really on par of the GTX 1050, making the emulation of the Switch Pro impossible for now.

its true phone has better hardware, but due to phone software you cant get games like switch.

Rk100, 27 May 2021Not all models had the OLED, most of them had LCDi said mine, i knew my vita has oled display. most of times games images changes every time, so its hard to get burn in. even in switch it will be fine if you use it as gaming handheld, if you browse or use app with static bar then you will get them.

It a needs 900p screen minimum and 128gb storage. I also hope the new SOC is made using a 5nm euv process. Though knowing Nintendo it will probably be something old like 12nm.
