Not sure why you brought that up, since s7 edge is old and old gen mediatek/mali has poor support for games and not good for emulation. Also, I was talking about new dimensity chipsets...SMH

Exynos has a history of not being as good as snapdragon or even mediatek to a certain extent.
If given an option, I rather pick mediatek over exynos lol

a lot of people complain about SD888 overheating. Its very fast chipset, but also very hot. Theres several reports of samsung s21 with SD888 overheating. Even the ROG5 has troubles cooling down the SD888. Its an issue of chipset or lack of cooling

This is one of the reasons I sold my Galaxy S7 Edge and it's still happening in 2021 SMH...
And people are surprised why I'm a Snapdragon fan, even the camera gets hotter on Exynos Galaxy S21 Ultra vs Snapdragon Galaxy S21 Ultra while recording videos, I was expecting the other way around since a lot of people complain about the Snapdragon 888.

But gamers would never tend to buy smartphone at such a high price especially when it is quite easy to get a PC with much better gaming experience instead. Also, ROG's camera is a big let down compared to the competition.

I am curious when Samsung will enter the gaming phone industry. Especially with their upcoming chipset with AMD graphics.
True, it will probably be more expensive, maybe in the price range of Rog phones.
But, it will be nice for competition.

Playstore is not primary source for getting emulators but you can see how popular emulators are.

Emulation and game support for the new Mali gpus are not perfect, but its improving and getting better year after year. And the article you shared is several years old as well.

everything else falls flat :(
