        But he was wrong. Analysts believe that this year apple will become the biggest purchaser with above 150M OLED panels compared to last year when the number was lower (115M), although still impressive.

          Now that most Android phones have High refresh rate panels, the cost of these panels has gone down. Apple implementing High refresh rate panel 2-3 years back would have meant they had to pay high costs for the same.
          High manufacturing cost = low profit for the company.

                                    Apple giving some contracts to LG and Boe so that Samsung doesn't overcharge them.

                                    In reality, Apple is at the mercy of Samsung for their screens not the other way around as you mentioned
