Would it be better if they only had one software for the whole world? Sure, but impossible due to Google and China relationship.

Xiaomi is more popular for their midrangers and budget flagships rather than their top flagships. That might change though now that Huawei can't make flagship phones anymore

At least this is what I know. If anybody else has some updated numbers, please share them in here too.

China ROM is special for nearly every Android phone company,no GMS(or at least most of people wont use tjem) mean many local adaptive need to do,like local map APP,music APP,video APP and even their own APP store.
Since Xiaomi's software team still mostly based on China,global Rom is somehow release late.
But I think they do working on growing up their global team since last year.

funny thing is my Chinese friends are all using latest iPhone in China and they claim it's the one and only for them. Never met any Chinese person who has any other phone apart from iPhone.
But of course when there are billions of people everything is possible and 500k units should be nothing for them.

For Every Xiaomi Product they do like this .. I don't whether it's real or fake but it's kinda make me think like Chinese people buys bunch of mobiles every week

The special 618 price for the base variant is good but after it returns to the normal price after the 618 shopping festival it will be a little on the expensive side. Getting close to the k40 pricing

Thanks Xiaomi, bring the global versions to China, but not the China versions to global markets.
You don't see Apple bring the good stuff only for US, or Samsung only for South Korea.
Not to mention their software update policy. First China, after 1 month India and then if you're lucky with your model, the rest of the world.
Yeah, unbiased. Lol.
I am waiting almost for 1 month for MiUi 12.5 on my Poco F3. Even though, some other models (even inferior ones) have already got it. Not to mention the Redmi K40, which is just a Poco F3 for China market. So, is not a hardware issues.
