AnonD-71868, 17 Oct 2012Who doubts that LG Optimus G is currently the best phone on... moreYeah, with that specs it easily is. But, OEM engineering is what makes the difference. I'll check out the LG Optimus G anyway. Although, I won't buy any new smartphone till next year... Hoping to be amazed at the Xperia Odin or Yuga :)

And I truly hope they both have Adreno 320 GPU, cause of the Full HD display. I hope they make it water and dust proof too. *-*

Anyway, I'm happy with my Xperia Pro. So I can quietly wait :)

Who doubts that LG Optimus G is currently the best phone on the market and it will still be after this yuga buga launch or the asus padfone?

By the way, the funny thing is that the original Nexus was made by HTC, and Google never went back to HTC to make another one, even if the nexus didnt have Sense. Thats another thing i noticed, HTCs hardware fails more frequently, and when untill recently they had a reputation for returning defective phones to the customer without trying to repair them.

Sure theres a reason why Google do not want to work with HTC again, and hardware quality and non-existing support/service is the most likely reason.

There are good phones and there are bad phones, it makes no big difference what you buy, as long as you stay away from the defective brand thats known as HTC.

Because their phones are slow, laggy, unstable and unreliable, thanx to what they call HTC SENSE. This is why most people do not buy phones from HTC more than once, and thats why HTC went from being the fastest growing brand to the fastest declining brand, the customers are so unsatisfied that they dont come back again. HTC is by far the worst phone i have owned, malfunction and lag is very normal for HTC, thats why you also will not buy HTC next time. All other android phones i tried are very superior to HTC.

In Singapore, I do see a gradual rising number of people using Sony smartphones, particularly the Xperia S, Sola and Ion. There are friends and kins of mine also using Xperia. The reason is simple, they love Android and the Xperia phone designs are really stylish (compared to other manufacturers' phones). Although the specs maybe a bit lagging behind, I do not see that as in issue. I believe any manufacturers can simply add in the best specs into a phone but bringing the best user experience and best UI/phone design are other issues. That's why Sony Xperia users are willingly to compromise a little on the specs, and truly enjoy the best phone design and user interface experience.

As for 2013, I believe Sony is fast catching with the rivals. Under one roof without Ericsson, will accelerate the planning and decision making of each upcoming smartphone. Look at those old days when Sony Ericsson delivered the new phones about 4 months after the official announcement and the rolling out of updates (especially X10) were simply upsetting the eagerly awaiting users. Nowadays, the release of new smartphones are accelerated, within 2 months from the announcement (of course not all new phones will be released at the same time, look at Xperia S, P, Acro S, T/TX). In addition, the roll out of the ICS updates for 2011 Xperia phones are very promptly, according to their schedule without any delay (minor delays are due to the carriers in rolling out the update to their customers). And yes, Sony's ICS build is heavily skinned. Unlike others (eg. Sam****), look more like the vanilla version of ICS, an example is the Main Menu. That explains why Sony has to take a slightly longer time in rolling out the updates.

So yes, 2013 may be the turning point of Xperia where the flagships can truly FACE-to-FACE challenge the rivals' flagships. All the best, Sony!

And if they release HOX+ should blow that
Note 2 out the door as well

If more people vote no to sense HTC will stop the

Should make the benchmark faster.

If the HTC oneX+ can beat the Note 2 n beachmaks I'm ging with that then

The C650X looks like a pretty awesome phone, I wouldn't consider it if the screen was under 5.5" though.
