Huawei will update around 100 Android devices to HarmonyOS, the first batch gets it today

Harmony will start rolling out to Mate40 and P40 series phones and a couple of others. Some devices as old as 2017 will also get the new OS .

I have managed to install GMS on my Mate 30 Pro 5G so I'm will NOT update to Harmony OS under the risk of lose them.

          How do I download My Huawei or Huawei Club??? Neither show available in any Huawei thing I search (Petal, Huawei Apps). I am more than ready to install Harmony OS on my Mate 40 Pro.

            I even had windows mobile, so I had my share of trying. I actualy loved it more then android. but for normal experience what can huawei do better then google in a OS, since you interact 99% of the time with apps. android is just a thing that people dont think about. the hardware is so powerfull, even in midrange, that everything works.

            and trust me, I have 2 huawei devices, I want them succed.

              Finally, we are about to get a change. Who knows, this system might be more feasible that the other to major OS. Looking forward to see it on my P20 pro.

                        This is just like Vivo's brand new OriginOS UI where you can only experience it with China-only Vivo smartphones. If I do want to try out HarmonyOS, I do really need to get a China-specific Huawei phone. Makes me wonder where can I get one of those without resorting to sites like Alibaba and Taobao.

                          I wonder if the legacy devices (P20 and older) will get an interim Android 10/EMUI 11 update?

                                Garbage on steroids, hope your phone are on warranty and have good custom protection so you can take it back and get refund your money this gonna brake big time

                                      Glad to see they will update their older devices, even without GMS, it will be a 2nd life for old phones.
