Idk why samsung goes to hardware for reducing cost... why cant they launch a smaller phone?
Launch a 5.5 inch punch hole fhd 90 hz amoled screen phone, add headphone jack, sd card slot, use any esim snapdragon chip with one extra sim slot, 6gb 128 gb config, instead of going for dolby go for just one normal but loud enough speaker at top make it full plastic with atleast GG3 on display, one good camera with OIS is enough.
And fill it with bloatware to reduce cost man, why compromise on hardware.....fill as much bloatware as you want to reduce the price but atleast bring a decent phone on table

"For comparison, the A32 5G started at €280 and the weird thing is that the A22 5G is the better phone."

I do actually agree with this statement. When I compared the specs between A32 5G and A22 5G, just about the only area where the A32 5G gets ahead is the slightly more powerful Dimensity 720 chipset. But the A22 5G's chipset is also from the Dimensity 700 series, so it's not that far off in terms of performance. As for the camera, I don't miss the omission of the macro camera at all. I don't need that.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2021why hell did they remove sd card slot?? samsung gone crazy!... moreIts 720p90hz unlike redmi 9's 1080p60hz

In future phones for A33 we are looking snapdragon cpu and 5.7 inch display and two rear camera (samsung new camera). 6.7 inch display is very difficult to work from top to bottom screen.

We want 5.7 - 5.9 inch display, 6.6 inch is very difficult to work with one hand when we are in busy time.

So the cheapest phone with less memory doesn't get the memory card ...? Surprising.

GeeX, 03 Jun 2021i remember old days gsmarena said abt MI A3 with Amoled and... moreI remember that as well, but then recently they reviewed the a42 5g which also had a big 720p amoled display and didnt mention that issue so who knows.

i remember old days gsmarena said abt MI A3 with Amoled and 720p resolution display. even if 5.99 inch screen. i wonder "pentile matrix" on this display impact consumer bcuz it has a larger 6.5 inch display with 720p resolution..

                          Ok, Why?

                          Why not just a 5G model with; 6.4" AMOLED 720p 90Hz display, SD480, 1x 48MP Main Camera + Flash, 4500mah Battery...

                          A 5MP UW + Depth sensor, seriously?

                          Helio G80, 6.4" 90hz LCD and 4500mah, as a Galaxy A12 goes down easier..

I personally would've preferred HD AMOLED over fullHD TFT.

Fingers crossed for A22s with better chipset (G85? Even their favorite Exynos 9611 would run like a champ on a 720p display), bigger battery, and 64mp cam. I know a better chipset would undercut A32 but they already did that by adding OIS on this phone, so I can hope.

Alex 94, 03 Jun 2021A22 4g is better choice. Its a great thing that we have ois... moreOn these low end phone you wont get a good sensor anyways so who cares if it has OIS or not. Wont still make the quality of the video better with that shaking fix.

Redmi note 10 5G is pretty much same as this A22 5G, except a bit faster charger and maybe something more while note 10 5G is cheaper. The 4G version of A22 can be compared to either note 10 4G or note 10S but both are cheaper then the A22

Update wise who knows as it's mediatek chip so probably both brands give same amount of it.

A22 4g is better choice. Its a great thing that we have ois here. Nobody offer that. And phone will be under 200€. Also amoled with 90hz, nice. Hd res is smart move here, performance will be smoother and faster and baterry will last longer. I appreciate this model. Go for it guys if u like Samsung.

GSMArena, the 5G version has an LCD screen with standard 60 Hz refresh rate, not 90 Hz.
