Lol 😁 Snowden has confirmed, how it's easy to develop tools to compromise the security on iOS devices as the number of models are less and each device gets the same update on the same day.The average iOS user being dumb doesn't help them either.
Most of these people don't bother developing these tools for Android because of the fragmentation problem with a variety of individual skins on top of base Android.
The fragmentation that iboyz love to point out as a 'con' ends up contributing to better security.

For me, it's very hard to see 'Android' and 'security' going together in one sentence, especially when you have Google Mobile Services installed in it. If we really want to talk about security (and privacy) on an Android phone, we should be looking at GrapheneOS as a perfect example. Even Edward Snowden himself endorsed that OS*, and that pretty much says it all.

So a hacker might not intercept all that data since it's encrypted... Good.
But what about the apps themselves? all these apps have analytics and tracking (even the ones on playstore) unless you mod them and disable those parts of the app, your data is still going to those app companies which are extremely shady and unreliable with your data.

People over here at Gsmarena think that if they have the latest security patch they are safe which is complete BS.
Fappening happened despite latest security patch... You know why?? Coz of weak passwords. They would have got hacked even with this phone. This Android ma$ter guy is right, security is as reliable as the end user.
