YUKI93, 05 Jun 2021What can you do with more than 6GB RAM anyway? Even 6GB RAM... moreMy Note 10 plus often use 7-8GB Ram when multitasking.
Will never buy a phone with less than 8gb in the future.

47cosmos, 07 Jun 2021A 5000mah & Snap 780G would be perfect. I don't mind Samsung downgrading to an upper midrange chipset like the SD 780G for the FE variant. Samsung can also keep the USB-C 3.1 port and give wired Samsung DeX support. LG had proved with the Velvet 5G that their Screen+ Desktop Mode can easily perform well without any lag whatsoever despite only using SD 765G chipset.

So, the exact same S20 FE but with upgraded chipset and downgraded screen?

                      A 5000mah & Snap 780G would be perfect.

YUKI93, 06 Jun 2021It's very unlikely Samsung will do that since last yea... moreI am currently using the S20 FE 256GB 8GB RAM model which was an upgrade from my S9+

I was supposed to get the S21 Ultra but the deal breaker was the lack of micro SD card slot on a flagship phone made me swing back to the S20 FE. It is kind of stupid not to have storage expansion when they have the best camera module in built. I was planning to use the S21 Ultra as my 4K video vlogging/movie camera. And anyone would know that just recording high bit rate 4K videos eat tons of storage. Which is why I have a 1TB micro SD card in my S20 FE

I heard some conflicting rumor the S21 FE may not have any micro SD Card slot so that's really worrying.

[deleted post]Apple people aren't that knowledgable, just saying.

960, 05 Jun 2021Really hoping this has a headphone jack, because I don'... moreIt's very unlikely Samsung will do that since last year's S20 FE also doesn't have a headphone jack. If anything, we might be seeing the microSD card support coming to the new S21 FE since Samsung removed it for the standard S21 variants, but we'll just wait and see anyway.

AnonD-940827, 05 Jun 2021It's not about what you can do, apple lover! It's... moreLol, so much for "apple lover" when I never own an iPhone. Take the case of Google Pixel phones - Pixel a and previous flagship Pixels have 6GB RAM and yet they have faster performance than their equivalent rivals with more RAM because they have better OS optimization. Same story with ASUS and Sony because they use stock AOSP UI. Even a low-end Windows Phone OS with just a tiny 512MB RAM shows better performance than an equivalent low-end Android phone with 1GB or 2GB RAM. It does really show that software optimization matters a lot! There's no point in having a lot of RAM when there is no efficient memory management system in the first place. It's the truth.
