But I see your point - I myself still run a backup phone Mi 4c, 3/32 from 5 years ago. Got bruised now and there, throw new screen and battery, and it's good to go again. Runs on Android 11 thanks to BYBZ still regularly update LineageOS, no much issue except for slow realtime GPS and missing VolTE. Its SD808 clearly isn't up to most heavy tasks these days, but it definitely way better than this crap.

motorola and xioami sell phones with 2 gb ram and 32gig of storge at 90 euro mark,at lest they are decent enougt to run most apps without major problems,1 gb of ram is not enough just to run chrome alone

they simply go to a retailer ask what phones they can buy for the buget they have and that's it. the salesman can spin them around his finger choosing what they should buy.that kind of customers are the majority where i work, it makes me wanting to drag them out of the store and show them how many better second hand phones are out there.
