blaqceeza, 11 Jun 2021Yup! What he said! ☝🏿don't keep your hopes high and you'll be happy. Expect Wear OS without Google Assistant or Google Pay, and with all Samsung Bloatware. Also expect lots of bugs in the beginning and later updates that break working features ...and Apple prices for all the above.

...maybe it's a good thing. However I am done with their watches, my 2 year experience with Active 2 watch for which I payed like $500 when it launched was more than enough not to buy them again. Every new firmware broke more features than it solved. Half of the advertised features are useless: NFC only for Samsung pay in like 5 countries and 5 banks, GPS has no compass and cannot be used for navigation when hiking (the only use case that makes sense). EKG after 2 years still not everywhere. BP monitor needs calibration every month (not sure what they need a sensor for). Troubles in detecting HR which bugs exercise tracking. I am 40 and I run at about 170bpm HR and statistics shows I am always at VOmax which is plain wrong. Battery drains 50% in 1 hour if you run on a track with poor 4G connectivity. And lots and lots of other problems. Not to mention the Samsung touch: Bixby instead of GAssistent, SmartThings instead of Google Home, etc.

Maybe will be better with Wear OS, but I doubt that samsung will drop bixby, and their software, or that they will make sensors more accurate.

Would we get both pixel watch and galaxy watch 4 this year, or both Google and Samsung have collaborated for just this?
And what would you prefer out of these two?
