This is completely different from the smartphones-sphere. You get windows updates from Microsoft itself, regardless of the manufacturer of your laptop. And even if Windows 10 itself stops, you can download the new one and install it in like 15 minutes without much hassle.
I love how Macbooks look and work, but not their software. Thankfully, it's possible to delete Mac OS and install windows on them. Just not an easy task.

I get that the pro has so much more than just a big screen. But, I only want something like the MBA with ~15.6" screen instead of a tablet size 13". That's part of the reason alternative products like LG gram thrive. the issue with LG is their extremely poor after-sale service and lack of branches in many countries. Unlike Huawei, Realme, and the lot.

Don't expect latest ryzen cpu it will probably came with 10th gen intel. Unless it's ryzen 5000 or tiger lake it's worthless. Expect 100c and thermal throttling

Graytech, 10 Jun 2021Then buy over expensive fruity book..I was looking for a computer and the best deal I was able to find, in a pc and that's prices in my country, of course was an i5-8 cores 11th gen with 8 gb of ram for 750 dollars. But there were so many compromises, the worst of all was the awful screen. Then it was plastic and cheap looking, the design was boring, no backlit keyboard, the speakers were bad, it was only 126 GB and it was over 2 kilos. Guess what, I decided to pay just 250 dollars more and got a MacBook Air. Apart from the much superior chip than the i5, the Air is simply a premium device, very slim and light, fantastic screen, backlit keyboard, excellent speakers, and 250 GB.

samsung launch a 360 laptop month ago,
xiaomi also launch a laptop, and realme too
I can guess what happen after this is ecosystem between realme devices, xiaomi devices, etc
