I use open source alternatives for most of my apps and wine for others but app compatiblity for most people is not good enough so windows may feel mpre intuitive.

However, if you want to mess around with stuff in windows, there's the WSL (windows subsystem for linux). And then there's also the powershell.
Had a fedora distro installed as a dual-boot option, and got rid of it a few months in cause... well I realized the only reason I had it was for showing off in my circle 🤣 and it sits uselessly in the drive since I've gotten lazy to learn it further.
