Recently my brother update his software in Samsung A30, after updating he lost all the contacts and some the apps doesn't work properly. I think the update is not useful for the Samsung usesrs. After that he factory reset his mobile phone then apps and contacts works properly. I am requesting the Samsung management to take serious action on 11update software.

But I would say, it would also depend on what kind of apps you install on your phone. As those apps may not be as good on your phone and might be cause of the problems you are facing.

If the factory reset doesn't work then, you can take the phone to the samsung service center and have it checked.

FatShady, 11 Jun 2021it will break the phone like it did with A30, those exynos ... moreNot 100% true. I have been using Samsung smart phones since 2011 and all of them are with Exynos processors. And none of them have given me any trouble.

My First Phone is Samsung Galaxy S2 with Exynos 4210, used this for four (2011 - 2015) years and it was still working perfectly. But I wanted to upgrade and purchased a second phone.

My Second Phone is Samsung Galaxy A8 Duos with Exynos 5430, used this for another four (2015 - 2019) years and it also did not give me any trouble and is working perfectly when I replaced it.

My Third Phone is Samsung Galaxy A30 with Exynos 7904, using this one since 2019 and this phone too is working perfectly, even after updating it to the Android 11 with One UI 3.1. And I intend to use this for another two years before I plan on going for an update.

I would say 50% relies on how good the phone is and 50% relies on how well the user uses it, which is what determines the longevity of the phone without any issues.

I received the update for my A30, ten days back and till now I didn't find any issues with the update. I was initially worried with all the comments on the internet about how this update will break the A30. Honestly, or may be I am lucky, all those issues that I have been seeing in the internet, I haven't experienced any of them on my A30 even 10 days after updating my phone.
