I've got a keyboard app literally hundreds of times smaller than another regular keyboard app. What's all that extra size for!

Hbk112, 11 Jun 2021Android play store is not available in China, but apple app... moreYes, as far as I know, because apple is regulated by themselves and know what goes on in their store, China allowed them to stay, but if I'm not mistaken, they also own % from that store. Any company you have and you want to operate in China, you will have to give up ca 20% of it. That means that the part of your company that is in China or operates in China, 20% or so, will be owned by China's government. That's the problem with all the companies from China, even if they say the government is not involved in their company, it's just a cover-up, because 20% or so of the company is owned by law, by the government. Apple decided most likely that the investment they get from China is worth so they most likely gave a % of their sitting in China to the government.

Android play store is not available in China, but apple app store is available???

This has something to do with the Taiwan flag emoji doesn't it

          1. Criticize US gov as much as you want on the platform the military is spying on (a/c to you). Chances are they won't do anything to you as you're not much of threat to them.

          2. Do the same to Chinese gov if you've guts to do so. If you did that then I pray that you never go to Chinese lands. You will be banned that's for sure even if you're non-Chinese.

Not everyone lives there. They should also be mocked if that's true.

The ironic part of this case is that iFlytek is a partially state-owned(ccp) Chinese company (like many big Chinese companies).

Use open-source apps whenever possible, and you'll have less problems.

And yeah, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc... are big on collecting every little bit of data about you. China is nothing next to them, and China hasn't financed military coups or extremist groups all around the world.
