[deleted post]Reading skills, what even is that? Because I pick a lesser evil of the two, that somehow makes me a "brand fanboy". Has it ever crossed your little mind picking something that's better than the other doesn't make one a brand fan, just someone who simply picked one? I couldn't care less if I have an iPhone, iOrange or iFruityLoops. I don't have phone to flash its logo or brag about it in front of people. It's literally the last thing I give a s**t about. I buy gadgets for myself and myself only.

[deleted post]There is a difference between willfully selling data for profit and being required to hand one over because the laws or security bills require them to do so. Prism nonsense falls under this category. Also, what's more hilarious is that Google participates in Prism as well as sells your data. When you have two evils, I'll pick the lesser one. And that's Apple at the moment. Prism is this bulls**t we pretty much just have to accept it because even tech giants can't seem to resist it because the "or else condition" they got. Sure I could use Googleless Android, but then I might just as well return to original Nokia 3310...

[deleted post]Um, they kinda are. They are not in business of selling user data. Which is why it's funny when Google is screaming "me too" when it comes to privacy. And then make billions of selling user data. So, which is going to be? You're privacy focused or you sell user data? You can't do both. Apple on the other hand, well, they sell devices and services like music. And they don't have anything free. Where Google is "here's all this free s**t and never doubt where our profits come from". Yeah, I'm gonna go with Apple for that one...

Industry experts have already said how all these companies are using your data against you. No single company is protecting your privacy, it's just an illusion of protection so that people don't revolt against them. Finish high school then come talk to us big Boyz

Poop, was really hoping for the glucose sensor to finally make an appearance. Rockley Photonics spectrometer sensor is pretty amazing stuff. Those who don't have diabetics in their life don't quite understand the cost/trouble of sticks+strips or the cost of existing continuous monitoring systems(a 14 day sensor with my insurance is $35). Having a non-invasive method of checking glucose level is literally a game changer.

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2021Why are you bringing android into this hater. Whatsapp als... moreHealth data on iPhones is end to end encrypted, meaning it's encrypted on user end and only user has the encryption key. WhatsApp, well it's made by Facebook, do I need to say more? It's a clown app. Also I didn't mention Android at all, hater. But yeah, it's a data hoarding OS. Deal with it whether you like that fact or not.

iPhone, Wearables, TWS earbuds, Tablet, PC... moreIf Apple never existed, other company would bring the tech, that's how it works.
Smartphone, Wearables, TWS earbuds, Tablet, PC, App store existed way before Apple made them.
Someone else would have got all the sales or pumped up the market. Hint: Samsung and Chinese brands

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2021No one's hating on Apple, people here just pointed out ... moreAnd what's the point of always being the first at "innovating" half baked features? So you can brag you were the first? Guess what, Ericsson was the first to release touch smartphone. Yet it took Apple to really rocket it into mainstream. And that's what Apple is really good at. Taking "first" features by others and actually making them functional and usable. Or as I call it, "It doesn't matter who makes something first, it matters who makes something actually usable first".
