First case for the Pixel 6 surface, has complex design that wraps around the odd camera bump

Now this time Pixel really looked like an Android bot. The camera bump looks like a robot's black horizontal glass that lits up two circle that will serve as eyes. I like the design! I just hope its price will not be so steep. I am really rooting for this one instead of getting a Galaxy S21 Ultra or iPhone 12 Pro Max.

A couple thoughts:
1) If the design really is a visual reference to the Nexus 6P, does that mean this is the end of the line for Pixel phones? Or will there be a Pixel 6P and then the end, followed by a total renaming of the Google phone brand? It would be awesome if they went back to the Nexus name. They could pick up where they left off and make the Nexus 8.
2) I just really hate the camera hump. Cameras are good enough these days for most people. Whatever benefits come from the extra space the hump offers, I don't care about. I want a phone that I can hold and put down on a flat surface and put in my pocket, without an awkward hump in the way or any of the bizarre camera islands that every other phone manufacturer has been embracing lately.

Then there's the fact that Google appear to be deliberately crippling the "small" version, Huawei can fit 7 full cameras in a smaller footprint but they have to remove the zoom?
We've all forgotten these things are supposed to be portable, the current trend for foldables, which give a tiny percentage of extra space in return for fragility and even heavier weight, demonstrates the problem perfectly.
If we don't watch out all we'll have left are huge, heavy and difficult to use devices that cost far too much.
I bought a ZenFone 8 in case you're wondering, a massive relief after the heavy slabs I've been using recently.

I am very anxious on this Pixel series like they are a hell lot of big! regular Pixel 6 with 6.4 inches?!! Whatever happened to Pixel releasing compact phones? All brands should have compact phones as part of their series. this might just be the time to switch to Apple with a heavy heart. sigh

You know case makers just get the dimensions of the phone, and they make a case on the design right? How is this any more complex than any other phone with a camera bump?

I can go for a phone like this. 6.5 + inch, over 8 Gb for memory and maybe 500 Gb for storage. That would be an IPhone killer for sure

If I were using my old Nexus 6 with a 6" display measuring 159.3 x 83.1 x 10.2mm and pondering how manageable a phone that offers a screen 11% larger (Pixel 6 Pro at 6.67"), I'd be terrified. But with the reduction in bezel size from year to year and shift to a more slender aspect ratio, the body hasn't suffered the same increase. The Pixel 6 Pro is predicted to come in at 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9mm, which makes it much, much easier to hold, being substantially less wide and modestly less deep - your hand can encompass it much better.
And the Pixel 6... Predicted to come in at 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm, it is smaller in every dimension while still offering a much larger screen.
