Oneplus seems hellbent on diluting the special sauce, huh? There's no way they can keep the OS slick and streamlined for the 8+ models they currently sell/support.

The problem is not rebranding models. I don't mind this. The problem are the discrepancies between Chinese models and global models when it comes to software updates. Sometimes the waiting time can be even 2 months (until the global model gets the software update).
Imo, that is the biggest problem with Chinese manufacturers. They are prioritizing the Chinese market. Of course, is their home ground, but still is not ok for the rest of us.

OnePlus Nord is Oppo Reno 5/6 re-branded 😅 it's not bad by any means, maybe because Oppo brand is less popular in US and Europe so they re-branded Oppo Reno series (which is have a pretty good sales in asian market)
