AnonD-1004713, 16 Jun 2021Oh boy, Samsung is going on the same path as Chinese manufa... moreI agree. Look at IPHONE they're all the same phone just different sizes. It's simple and it sells. I walked Into a supermarket the other day and they has 2 isles dedicated to iPhone cases and Accessories. And a little endcap for Samsung Phones...

AnonD-1004713, 16 Jun 2021Oh boy, Samsung is going on the same path as Chinese manufa... moreThe key to buying a smartphone is to do your homework first. Decide on a few key factors that you want/need in a handset regarding price and specs then read and watch reviews on the handsets that fit your personal preferences. The main things are firstly price, decide how much you want to spend, then things like screen resolution/make, battery, what soc you want, do you want headphone jack, stereo speakers or expandable storage etc. You don't have to be a big tech junkie to actually get the right handset for your needs at the right price if you just do a little homework before buying.

When they launched the F series, I think it was supposed to be their camera centric lineup. What are they doing now? Targeting different markets with different marketing speeches with the same phone I guess.

Oh boy, Samsung is going on the same path as Chinese manufacturers now. Rebranding phones and flooding the market with as many models as possible.
Not enough options can be bad, but having too many options is even worse. The average consumer will not know what model to pick and which model is actually better than the other.
You might as well blindfold people, put a bunch of random phones into a pile and then let people pick one randomly from there. This is how it feels like nowadays buying a new phone.
