1) Battery life is not super consistent - Huawei claims the battery life is about 3 days, bit the real life is 1 day, just for ordinary use.
2) No Ambient Light Sensor
3) Huawei fitness app is a mixed bag, Cannot share health data to third party app, strava for exmple
4) According to Huawei, the Watch supports mobile payments in combination with NFC, bit id doesn't work in Europe. NFC payments are a no-go, and Huawei’s Celia voice assistant doesn’t work
5) It has lots of features but its limited by OS, for example Meetime, voice assistant, OTA update, Sync with devices, etc available only on smartphoone with HarmonyOS

I like the GT3 Pro, the design is great (not with the bracelet though)..
The screen is brighter and better than the GT2 Pro
The watchfaces now has individual AOD skins.. great.
I don't like:
There is NO option, (xiaomi has it) to schedulle Aways On Display - and gesture. For example in xiaomi gtr2 and gtr2e and other models you can set AOD on from 08:00AM to 22:00PM. You can set the desture too.. so you don't use it in the sleep time, it is just a software otpion, this can't be so hard to implement..... COME ON HUAWEI, please!!!
If you turn off harmony os, and use it as not so smart watch (like GT2 Pro) it is great, the battery life is TOP... but.. BUT... you can't change watch faces, you can't use Aways On Display.. WHY???? I don't beed voice assist and appstore .. i want this great looking watch with huge battery and software from the GT2 Pro with the individual AOD skins and other little goodies from this one... It will be the BEST!!!

Great watch but I would still prefer a cheaper sim free variant with a smaller size.

At 125 grams you can buy full phone 6.01 the carbon makr2
64 grams is way too much
apple watch is 36 grams and has the same or more services and options

I'm surprised that Huawei don't do more 'market research' & focus groups and the like to determine "what the market wants" instead of just serving up what 'they think...' customers might want, because what they are serving up is certainly NOT measuring up to what customers want and expect.

Just like all the phones posted on this site and any electrinics, it will depreciate rapidly since the technology isn't stagnent. It's a known fact that applies to pretty much all electronics. A blender or a washer dryer combo from the 70s will outlast it's equivalent one from 2020/2021.The Atari 2600 isn't worth much today, the original Ipod isn't worth anything, even the pixel 4a is considered obsolete by folks posting on here. Most modern cars which depend heavily on electronics rarely go up in value...can't think of one that has gone up in value. I think everyone knows this and campanies are not forcing anyone to invest in this technology... This is the age of disposable tech and disposable music lol.
I've never paid for a flagship phone and decided to spend more than $200 for the first time and got the pixel 4a for $300 almost 1.5 years ago. I have the best android smartwatch on the market and it's available for $210 USD.

If one is to spend that much behind this garbage then just invest behind a mechanical watch, which is incomparable in terms of craftsmanship and also value- which will appreciate over time than depreciate rapidly in merely weeks. Posting some nice close up shots is only aesthetically pleasing.
