What is the implication if there's any...
"The playground is open" ??
Is it regarding google play? or improvements in android for better games support/ or inclusion of something similar to ios' game center??
or may be is it that nexus playground is open for many players. Samsung,Asus,LG etc...

i c that with win8 release there will be another flame war between linux vs win.
i understand why ppl think win8 is the next best thing after bread.:)
but on the long run it hurts us all. open source is the way to go ppl!
and remember kids vendor lockin is a bad thing!

but maybe you are right, i use windows more than ubuntu
and of course mac os can't do half what windows and linux do
but when it comes to smartphones it's difference
i don't want to start "My OS is better than your OS" conversation

I am using android tablet as replacement for traveling. together with keyboard ( asus concet is amaziing) it works perfectly even for my normal work. only issue is performance for compiling. if i want to do something more complex i need 64GB memory and realy fast cpu... so in that moment i use windows. windows 7... i realy dont see anything interesting on win8

I bet any of you using Android or IOS can not get away from Windows. It is the case for me. I have the new Ipad and an Android phone, but still have to go back to my computer when I need to do the "real stuff". Now Windows 8 is coming. For the first time, my dream comes true. Guess what I am going to carry Windows 8 surface "pad" with Nokia Lumia 920. They are going to work together smoothly.......

Holding an event at the same day as its competitor's launch event? WTH? Maybe google is threatened by the microsoft launch.
Im pretty sure this event won't cloud the Microsoft event. The media is already prepairing for that big microsoft launch.

and reports said that microsoft is already burrying zune (maybe you wont't need it anymore in WP8).

s, 18 Oct 2012I bet Google are really sure that they'll totally overshado... moreI'm not sure what they are coming out with, but there are millions of people waiting for mini version of the ipad. I'm not sure how google can top that, unless they come out with some sort of superphone that can defeat the s3.

They said it will be smooth not 100% lag free anyway.
Key Lime pie is now the best fix! Hope they give more details for the update

Oh man if Google announces Key Lime Pie, Android fans willrun the streets with pitchforks in anger that their device doesn't have it as they do after EVERY update. I will be Laughing my butt off at all the "now unsatisfied" with JB and Project Butter Android fans out there.

I really love the Nexus line of devices, its like Google picking out a competitor to design and manufacture the best phone and picking the best one. I love Google and Android, can't wait for the Nexus awesomeness!

Where is everyone reading about 4.2 KLP or this so called project road runner..Or is everyone just assuming based off rumors..Ill believe it when i see it..My Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus both run 4.1.2 yet i havnt heard anything solid about KLP 4.2 besides rumors..
