16 June 2021
Just clearing the app data for the Camera app should do the trick most of the time.

Hahahaha.
When will people understand that, with few exceptions, cheap phones will be cheap phones.
Just get something around 300-400EUR and you will be fairly safe.
Of course, a 100-200EUR Xiaomi phone will not be the same as a 400EUR Xiaomi one. If you can't afford a 400EUR one, just wait some time, put some money aside and that's it.

Meanwhile, 100% of MIUI are still facing optimization issues. 😑

This phone screams cheap from hardware to software the X3 series is better

Bad english, 17 Jun 2021Im using Note 10 in the last 10 days, and no bugs at all, e... moreYes, changing region helps to some extent. But there are several versions of miui like Chinese, Indian, Russian, Global and Europe. Of these Chinese version is optimised well, smoothest and receive updates first. That version even has weekly beta updates. But EU version is the best in terms of bloatware free, less tracking and lesser recommendations due to stringent eu laws. Indian version is the best garbage you can get with all bloatware, ads and tracking while the software is filled with bugs. You can check your version by checking the build number. It should be like MIUI 12.5.2 RFKEUXM. For others instead of EU, it'll be IN for Indian, CN for chinese, RU for Russian and MI for global versions.

nanagdad, 17 Jun 2021Planned obsolescenceRedmi 3 is widely not sold in my country grey market due to sheer amount of them returned after few month due to camera issues. So the grey market seller avoid selling Redmi 3.
it was Redmi Note 3 pro that have better qc on the camera.

So yeah, Xiaomi does have history with crappy camera quality control. I sincerely thought its in the past as Redmi 5 series is pretty damn reliable.

Dear GSM Arena, Highly request you to add another section/column under phones specifications pages with name Bugs/issues.
Because these bugs are intentionally induced by the companies at later stages via OTA updates into the devices.
And because of this these bugs must be treated as part of specifications for the devices.
Hence we as a enthusiasts or buyers need to know these information as well.

As POCO X3 user, camera app in Poco sucks. It lags way more than my Redmi Note 5 ai. Its app performance reminds me of my Redmi Note 3 pro where it will takes time to focus.
With that lag from pressing take and image actually taken, taking image on restless object like a pet dog? good luck with that.

Try change you region (or country). Yes there is a 'recomandation' in security, music, file manager, themes, download, but for like 30 sec you can turn it off (if you know, where to look at), also 'msa' and thats it.
For 150 euros brand new, it ok phone, and MIUI is for more advanced users, since MIUI 7 version.

                      Planned obsolescence

What about the Redmi Note 10 series bugs? Maybe people should clear the ROM and install custom ROM 😂

The Redmi Note 10 series is a great lineup for the price, no doubt. It's the software experience that ruins it.
