And it&#... moreAlso just on principle I would say sharp should get our help here I mean guys we are getting a splash resistant phone with headphones SD card and a huge 1 inch sensor form a respectable brand in partnership with another respectable brand I mean LG gave up and they had awesome headphone HIFI QUADAC AMP and started triple cam setup in arrays . While for a long time still offering SD card .what are these clowns doing taking things from us like I mean SD cards are the best by far kind of upgradable and replaceble memory in phones. Unless u want to carry a apple or usb c huge portable Hardrive or pay double for same device with more storage just because it didn't fit?! Samsung made fun of apple for not having SD card headphone jack or charger and now they are playing the same dumb game. Of removing things that worked really well. I'm still rocking LG V40 and just I was to upgrade to Samy here but noticed how they quietly removed SD card from T-Mobiles description. So yeah You go sharp take LGs place and kick these thief's out of the market. Till they play nall

Lol, I'm not playing any "game", mate. Your original comment literally said that this phone has a huge camera bump but a tiny sensor under it, which is blatantly false no matter how you slice it. And here, I'm simply trying to tell you it is not the case and prove that the size of the camera bump is pretty reasonable given the large camera module size. Stop putting words into my mouth and just move on ffs.

TheLastOracle, 19 Jun 2021I see what you're saying, but this phone has an enorm... moreMind you that due to a relatively wide 19mm equivalent lens, a sensor area per field of view on Leitz phone and Aquos R6 that it is based on is actually fairly comparable to many other flagship phones with 1/1.33 inch or larger sensors and considerably smaller than several of them (Mi 11/Pro/Ultra, Motorola Edge+ etc). Also, it is a poor JPEG post processing that oversharpens the image - not the "computational" part which does global/local frame alignment and stacking itself.

While HDR can substantially improve dynamic range and low light capabilities in small sensor smartphones, the detail loss due to the small sensor is enormous. Plus HDR artefacts reduce detail, and the computational photography algorithms oversharpen photos, to compensate for detail loss. If this camera does decent HDR, it should easily proton photos better than almost any camera out there. And by a noticeable margin.
