Phone performs exactly the same as before (smooth and lag free; it certainly didn't need the MiUi 12.5 update). Also, the green tint and heating issues haven't been fixed. The preinstalled apps (the ones that couldn't be uninstalled), have the same issue now (you can't uninstall them).
And I can see all those Xiaomi fanboys 2-3 months ago, how they commented that MiUi 12.5 will change Xiaomi phones completely and how all the bloatware will be removed from the phones. Hahaha.
Just pure marketing from Xiaomi, to make people buy the newer models from them.

I have got the update on my mi 10 and honestly,it is just hype...not a single advantage i can see of this update.. performance is the same, battery life is slightly lesser than before

Dont use it..
Buy Note 10 pro few days ago. The phone is good for the price but they need alot of fixes. AOD with 10 sec option is suck! Notification too.. We need serious major update :(

Tired of this WhatsApp and messages notification miss aligned notification on 12.1.2
Its killing me.. How can they push such rubbish update as stable which can't even display notifications properly. It is accepted for beta roms but they pushed this buggy rom as stable one. I thik xiaomi don't have enough software engineer to test the builds for every device as they are releasing almost 10 devices every month. This is why they are releasing public beta versions as they don't have enough engineers to test every rom and they totally rely on feedback. They do push the update without even testing themselves. The other problem is their engineer team is based in China and they don't have global rom development team.

Just unlock and flash one from Xiaomi eu that's based on china and works flawlessly.
