These chip are more streaming friendly.
Qualcomm continues to sell you a Snapdragon 888 unable to decode AV1.
AV1's specifications were released in 2018.
Mediatek offers AV1 decoding since last year (Dimensity 1000) and this year on the mid-range (Dimensity 900)
Qualcomm chooses to sell you an obsolete decoder!
Plus I remember Qualcomm's condemnations, their illegal activities lead to employements destruction in UK, France and Italy (Icera, ST-Microelectronics).
Never any Snapdragon for me (the only and the last one was on HTC Hero)

You buy Xiaomi or poco and after several months you sell your phone and buy next one. Samsung is opposed. You buy once Samsung and you don't change for good 3 years. At end you spend less money and you are happy. With xiaomi you spend more money and nerves in long run.
