When the newer SD/Exynos comes out Apple would already have A15, also that M1 chip is a monster what happen if they put it on iphone? even maybe its a cut down M1 it would be still a beast.
                        Apple chip is threat to its competitors, its something they cant ignore anymore. Samsung and Qualcomm are moving in the right directions with their partners. I think they cant just rely on their in-house engineers anymore because the history might repeat itself.

                            Because Apple design cpu in house they can put more cache and use more die compare to Qualcomm who use smaller die and cache to increase profitability.

                            Samsung can copy Apple, If my memory are correct Exynos inside s8 had more die size compare to other soc, if they invest in good design with faster soc storage from cache to controller they can beat IPhone.

                                Sonu4678, 18 Jun 2021Of course Samsung sees Apple bionic as advanced, they aren&... morethe only reason is that apple doesn't have to work with random hardware/software. all the 3 companies (intel, nvidia and amd) have to make some kind of prediction on how their hardware is going to behave with others and don't forget that windows in itself is a very challenging software for companies, even to microsoft themselves. we saw what apple did before they decided to make everything inhouse and lock them with software instead of buying them.
