Only thing I see at Yahoo these days is shutdown this, shutdown that. Why don't they just pull the plug and let it die with some dignity?

Yahoo was superb when we were tiny. It also had some great chat rooms, news and other features. It refused to keep re-inventing itself, and thus self destructed.

Yahoo was very exciting when it first came out. I remember everything was using yahoo mail, messenger and yahoo answers. Other Yahoo services too. I just feel that they have stagnated. Google have kind of annihilated them really. Yahoo feels like a brand that is just sort of waiting about waiting for some impetus and it feels like if it doesn't get it soon, it'll be gone.
