Last year he got his first iPhone, it is iPhone 11. He was worried that he won't know how to use it. He's now more happy than with any of his earlier phones, all his android phones had lot of problems and just hard to use. He has nothing but great things to say about his iPhone.
My brother went to his first iPhone too around sametime and again same story.
That's how Apple makes iPhone users and users who they keep for many many years.
Now my mom is so frustrated with his Sony phone which have all kind of problems, i wonder will she also buy her first iPhone because i gave my iPad to her during lockdown and she won't give it to me back anymore :D She's liking it so much.

Not to mention the prices of the s21 have not dropped much. Maybe certain sales or location. But retail has not changed much.

And of course samsung as a greedy corporation wants more sales. Doesnt mean the millions that it sells are not actually doing ok.

Everyone believes its easier because they are told that. Or told that iphone is better and everyone had one.
Or they had an old android or a $50 one and compared it to the experience of an $800 iPhone and thought the iPhone was better. Seen it every day for years as a random phone expert and eventually as a phone sales person.
Cant tell you how many times families bring in grandparents to upgrade to an iPhone from a flip or cheap android telling them how easy and better it is and that they want them on an iPhone. And those people come back in saying how much they despise it and that we need to take it back.
When it comes to basic functions like calls and text they both equal. When it comes to settings menu organization, security and setup, getting apps, and things like that android is easier for most.

But the story is the same on the opposite end. People were lead to believe that iphone was made by magical wizards and the small batteries and ram didn't matter because they have magical software. Its just not realistic. And thats exactly why Apple had to start offering more specs in some areas.
And of course more Android users are aware of wanting more storage.
And yes even some apple users are as well. But many are also used to living of such constraints that they don't think they need more.

30% Sounds a lot! i would say it lot lower try more like less than 5% and there's nothing wrong with that, it's exact same with typical Android users. Most people also use like 1-2% of their computer power and there's nothing wrong with that. Most do few simple tasks with their devices and want to do them easily and effortlessly and nothing wrong with that, if you think otherwise i recommend you to come out of tech bubble.

I have a lot of friends with iCrap and all of them use them mainly to show off. I haven't seen any of them to use their phones at 30% of their power. More 80% of those who are buying iPhones are doing it to show off or for others to see that they can afford an expensive phone. I know 2 or 3 guys that actually work and make money with their iPhones and iMacs. The rest is history.

And these are above $400 not even that expensive and yet Apple owns almost 60% share.

If that would be case, why people have almost stopped buying android high end phones? People nowdays mostly buy android phone because they can't afford iPhone, when people actually want something better and are ready to pay for it, big majority buys iPhone because it gives value for your money for a long time.
