A new set of bills will make things more difficult for big tech companies to engage in monopolistic practices.

If you watched his video about the best smartphone of H1 2021, the Top 3 are all Xiaomi phones. Also, that is the guy who boldly claimed that the headphone jack is "on the way out" when he reviewed the ASUS Zenfone 8 and even facepalmed about the Nokia 808 PureView camera. From that moment, I'm starting to doubt his credibility as a tech reviewer.

It was a fair comparison. Most people who call customer service are naive and don't have big complex problems. Statistics show how most problems are minor and can be fixed with a simple tweak via help from customer service. So many people will call as to why their Internet is not working only to know that their plan has expired or whatever.

If a basic thing that can plague the most technically challenged user can't be resolved quickly, then what is the use of customer service? The Chinese brands identified the issue and corrected it swiftly. You just salty coz Apple and Samsung (so called premium brands according to you) failed miserably. Just because iPhone is popular at your high school doesn't mean, Apple is the best in real world. It's videos like this where the simplicity of using iOS and great customer support of big brands gets exposed.

He basically chose the most basic problem. The fact that apple scored lower shows that it overanalyzes problems, which is good because 99% of customers won't be asking about why my screen has gone black when the phone ran out of battery.

Oh, I COMPLETELY FORGOT!!!!!! Haters like you call every channel who puts iPhones in last place "fair" and every channel that doesn't "biased crap". Too bad, mrwhosetheboss is just smart enough to know that apple devices have qualities that are above the stupid spec for price mindset that most apple haterzzz have. And the number of subs he has shows that most people are beyond that thinking, too.

Show me a single channel that you call "fair" that doesn't put iPhones in last place. If you don't, stop hating and start creating a trillion dollar phone company and a youtube channel with 7.5 mil subs. I'm waiting.

I support this bill. Simply those big gaints are buying the small businesses and end of the day consumer remains with no option other Apple or Google. More competition in market reduces prices and provides more choices for the customers. I just lost interest in reading tech news because of the companies like HTC, LG gone out of the mobile world. Now a days it's just Apple and Samsung if there is any mobile news which is bad. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, HTC, LG those days were really interesting.

The number of subscribers gained doesn't tell the whole story. You can still make crap and corny videos and gained millions of subs at the same time, but would I support it? Not an absolute chance.

As for Apple itself, most of the comments here show that I'm not alone about their monopoly practice. Remember Apple's push against the right to repair? Tell me how many people like it, there is none.

What about you create your own channel with 7.55m youtube subscribers, huh? Or create a 2 trillion dollar phone company? I'd like to see you try :)

Haters need to have something better to do with their life. It's not like apple or mrwhosetheboss cares about one sub/customer lost anyways.

Forcing those giants to close and let lie smaller companies would be a lot better and far more prefferable thus to my opinion.
But not even a multibilliuon bill would be enough they have so much money they can litterary pay anything or even buy the courts.

it's actually a joke when some law makers claim that some services Google provide are make essential and to be make as basic things. just wondering where is the justification when Google for example is building up its service what did all this law maker do ? it's actually a joke to say that Google who created the OS cannot have its map or other applications on its on own OS. this like telling smaller company we will force big company to level the playing field so you guys don't need to build everything as you can get a free ride. yes I agree there must be regulation to contain big companies but to tell apple that they can load or have its own app in the app store is a joke. if I were apple or Google i would consider closing down Google map and apple app store

People favor this bill simply because it bashes larger companies. Truth is, the subtext of this bill, which goes unnoticed and stays away from the headlines, disrupts the operations of the smaller companies, which are would be competitors to the incumbents like MS, Apple, FB and Twitter. This bill is going to harm innovation, and smaller, younger companies will find the regulatory burden much harder to overcome whilst still competing with the Big 5. The Big 5 can hire every lawyer and lobbyists under the sun to keep their business safe and operating, but you cannot say the same thing about smaller competition like Parlor, Telegram, duckduckgo, Mozilla etc..

Whilst it does obviously contain many democratic elements, majority rule was one of the biggest fears of the founding fathers, and one of the main reasons they tried to steer away from pure democracy.

In the words of Thomas Jefferson: ‘a democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty nine’

This is not me trying to defend the current state of affairs by the way, more my trying to point it does represent the natural progression of the system as set up.
