Android, iOS, and macOS are tetraplegic operating systems (OS).

Windows 11 is the OS to rule them all.

Bigmeme, 24 Jun 2021Maybe you don't know to use it?What's there not to know?
Turn on scanner/printer, open the Microsoft Scan app, press the scan button.
In the show more section you only get to choose the color mode, the dpi resolution and the save location. Nothing more.
It scans the page and AUTOMATICALLY saves it to Desktop when finished, with a silly name you don't get to choose, without any option to scan for another page. If you put a new paper inside the scanner and press scan again, it does the same thing, ending up with 2 pdf files.
This is clearly how the program was written by Microsoft.
I'm actually quite skilled when it comes to working with pc's and and phones, me being the person that most of my friends asking for help when they are having technical problems.
Linux on the other hand never has any problem with drivers, (Windows is a real champion at this), it will print on the spot (no reboot needed to print something), and I can scan as many pages I want in a single pdf file. And it's free. And I can edit pdfs, extract text from images or pdfs etc.
I'm not saying Windows is awful at everything, but when it comes to scanning and printing, it deserves half a star out of 10.

AlienKiss, 24 Jun 2021I dunno about win 11, but if it's anything like win10,... moreLol, I've been scanning hundreds of documents on my Windows 10 laptop and not one ever failed. Either your scanner has a missing or outdated driver or you really don't know how to properly use it.

                                New earbuds it is.

I remembered that Windows 10 is an evolution of Windows 8 and 8.1. Could Windows 11 be an evolution of Windows 10, which in turn is also the second evolution of Windows 8 and 8.1? Apart from the new Windows 10X UI and better multi-monitor experience, I don't really see significant changes.

AlienKiss, 24 Jun 2021I dunno about win 11, but if it's anything like win10,... moreMaybe you don't know to use it?
