But after one year people got it for around Rs. 45000. That's a significant price drop even when buying it brand new. iPhone always offer poor value.

In real world, effective cost of using iPhone yearly is higher than Android flagships

It's not, there's studies about that all the time and iPhone keeps it price way higher for long time compared to Android flagships.

After two years, the loss is about double that, 35.5 percent for iPhone and 62.5 percent for Android. I sold my iPhone 11 pro Max after 9 months for Rs.55k (purchased it for Rs.117k)
I sold my OnePlus 8 pro after a year for Rs.35k (purchased it for Rs.60k)
Depreciation in value, percentage wise is in the same ballpark

The reason why they use small sensor is purely profit. They know a bunch of loyal users will accept it like God's gift and never complain all the while shutting down any criticism from Apple and non-Apple users alike.

People still bought it in record numbers thinking it is better, only to get dissapointed when compared to other devices with higher resolution AMOLED displays & higher refresh rate.

mini was not a flop, just a niche market... i would be glad to own such if it was not that expensive! an entry device at $900... ha ha, you made my day! i stick with my se2020 for another couple of years then

It can't give good quality at night without night mode, which is on auto at all times.

Why can't Apple give a larger screen for the mini variant? As much as I love compact-sized smartphones, 5.4" is not going to cut it. 5.6" or 5.7" would do a much better job.
