For just $99 you can have a smartphone with Android 9 the size of a candy bar.

I would love to have a 4.5" screen phone which is very very convenient for elderly people to use and rest in pocket as well. Bigger phones are trouble creators.

Would have assumed the jelly phone from unihertz was on the smallest side abs with better specs

Foldable full touch is a recent thing and we can see how pricey Galaxy Fold and that Moto Razr are. They can still make a one display foldable for cheap but that would obviously make one half useless and look ugly.

sadh, 06 Jul 20213" is just useless 5.4" iPhone Mini is actually ... moreI wouldn't call 3 inch useless. Yes if you're always watching videos or gaming but if you don't do that stuff it's usable enough for the most part. I would happily have this size. iPhone Mini is a nice size but it's too expensive, plus (for me) it has no headphone jack either and it runs iOS while I prefer to have Android.

          3" is just useless
5.4" iPhone Mini is actually near perfect but it's not for everyone with that $700 asking price.
4.3" 18:9 with minimal bezel, not asking for a near-gone bezel like the iPhone Mini, is actually perfect. It's usable and still able to pack sizeable battery. At least 2000mah.

The Mony logo looks like the Sony one. The screen should be borderless for that size and the fake camera lenses remind me of cheap wristwatches with fake chronometers.

              Come in Bangladesh.

Isn't that 2018 Palm phone smaller? Thickness has to be considered too you know. If you calculate the volume of each phone, this thing is 46830 millimeters cubed while the Palm phone's volume is 36170 millimeters cubed.

If they made a foldable this size with flagship specs, I'd be all over it. The convenience of a small phone that's easy to use and transport, but could unfold into something larger when needed for media consumption.

Maztitos, 05 Jul 2021What's up with the 3 fake cameras on back? LOL Imo th... moreYeah, thinking about it, this sounds like a Wish.com scam phone company trying to go "legit". Who else would have tons of fake* quad-camera modules?

*Not counting the zillions of phones with one serious camera and three 2MP cameras.

And I'm really tired of seeing A53 cores. I hope we'll soon start seeing RISC-V SoC's in sub-100 dollar phones.

hmm, 06 Jul 2021The 12 mini is also with a good size phone but have 2 flaws... moreYou know, I think you kinda have a point. That small phones should start as budget phones rather than flagships. But the problem is that most people in the entry level market believe bigger is better. So yh, wouldn't really work for companies ig.

New guy, 05 Jul 2021Yh, that's what I meant. 6 inches is now considered co... moreThe 12 mini is also with a good size phone but have 2 flaws. It's too expensive to make sense to buy it over there 12 model and it has too small battery. I would like this size phone but a bit more thicker that has like 3500-4000mAh battery in it and something SD678, SD890, or something 7 series chip in it and will be with android and around at most 250 euro in price. I think i be fine even with SD480 or something like Helio G95 to dimensity 700-800 for under 250 euro. Dont even need more then 1 camera for rear but i would like to have edge to edge screen without punch hole selfie cam. I prefer to have enough bezel at top and bottom that fit in the selfie camera

I do not get it. 10 years ago this phone would be a mid ranger. I feel phone are getting bigger and bigger. What is next are we all going to walk around with tablet instead of phones?

hmm, 05 Jul 2021Iphone 12 is still a compact phone if you consider it'... moreYh, that's what I meant. 6 inches is now considered compact due to the large sizes of modern phones and even I do believe that around 6 inches is the best size for a phone. But that means that the mini is now considered too small by most people and so it's size rather than it's price mostly caused the weak sales.

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2021Where's the crowdfunding website ?Why? The phone is horrible and the only reason you'd need to see the crowdfunding website is to buy it.

The problem with the iPhone 12 "mini" was that it wasn't really a mini phone, just slighly smaller than other phones while still being too expensive.

I think there's definitely a customer segment that wants a 5" phone with thin bezels, at around 300 EUR or cheaper. There's no need to try to make every phone for the kids who want to play games on them all day.

Imo the Jelly 2 is a wayyy better deal, even if the Kickstarter discount isn't available anymore. More current Android version, better design, much more solid specs all around
