Not if the custom Rom is setup how you like it.
That is the launcher is part of the ROM and with it
when u do the reset.
Factory reset makes the massive difference to speed after it slows after a few weeks of use.
Then use Titanium Backup.
Then you overclock, benchmark a few times to check for errors and adjustments.
More easier and faster then Windows Phone with the proper phone skills after setup.

The Nokia 920 is a very nice phone indeed but very expensive compared to other similar products available in the market place. Will opt for the HTC 8x instead as it has similar specification at a cheaper price. Pity as I so wanted to support Nokia given their recent troubles but price is a deciding factor. Perhaps Nokia should review their pricing policy if they wish to win back loyal customers.

One most important thing tha gsmarena didnt mention is that , off contract both lumia920 and htc8x are priced equal i.e. 600$.......so now the game begins....

No doubt HTC build solid phones. Their build quality is even better than iPhone and Plastic samsung. No iScratch out of the box.. However 8X and Lumia 920 on same specs? Please dont joke.. I'm pretty sure 8X is solid build phone. But Nokia Lumia 920 accounts most innovations in recent devices. Its a real winner. And don't forget the Lumia 820. (HTC myTouch 4G user)

Regular people don't to those things, all they care is to use it the way OEM's made it.

Does anybody realize that nokia map/drive is not a part WP phone future, not all WP phone will have that, so stop adding them to list of WP greatness. WP market actually have some advantage, since they will have Microsoft only software and games which Google and Apple doesn't have
WP has cleaner interface, it's simple and neat
Android has great customization
iOS is just iOS (the same thing since the first iPhone)

They haven't got Root access and done a regular factory reset to clear the caches out properly or waited for the updates of 4.1.x and 4.2 and using modificed kernels that's all.

FYI wp8 can support upto 64 cores. So cores are nt an issue. And how many iteration and updates did android need to be 99% lagfree ? And here is wp with its second or say it was lag free from the start. Wp8 is promising ,as it shares the same kernel as its PC counterpart

anyway WP8 can run to as high as 64 cores ( maybe snapdragon s4 dual core is more than enough,while android needed 10 cores just to make it smooth).

i used to like nokia but never wp or symbian..nokia is a good company and i must admit that,but why so stubborn not to make android i start to think it is stupidity..i live in a hostel where smartphone is becoming popular,and nobody is buying wp os symbian or even ios..
