I bet gamers are also using both cpu+gpu as well....so that thing is HOT as hell..
Stop defending and learn some physics'...when you go thin with 45W and also with dGpu...that thing will get hot...
Maybe for you using just for facebook...ofc it will run cool...but people reading articles and not using the laptops...is hilarious...buy an 45W +dGpu laptop and then we talk....until then..bye

For low wattage i prefer ( i think others also ) Amd new ryzen 5 series , the combination. Of intel and nvidia is better to use for heavy gaming series not light notebooks,

Like i said..to have over 85C on the SoC...along size a hot dGpu also..that translate to a hot laptop (except thick gaming laptops)

i... moreYou guys need to check your facts again within 2 to 3 years there is huge revolution in pc, since ryzen announcement both Amd and Intel up their Game.
Nowadays 35/45W cpu can scale preety well from low to higher wattage, newer cpu easily give 10+ hours of battery life and they can sustain performance in less than 80 centrigade.

When you have Windows machine, you know that you have both Global hardware support, All software (except Sony Playstation 4/5 and Apple iOS/macOS exclusive apps) availability either native or via emulators and Global availability.

I stopped buying intel based laptops ... they get so hot and also expensive ....i'd rather buy AMD CPU WITH NVEDIA GPU THAN THIS SHIT...

Omg, 28 Jun 2021I never came across with a non-heavy thick laptop that i ca... morenowadays we have better manufacturing process for cpu, and these cpu they dont consume that power all time only under heavy load. check these two examples

all of them have around 9 hours battery life, which is ultrabook levels.
this Xiaomi one will have even weaker gpu 3050ti with good thermal it can remain cool in majority of task.
