But then again, the SQ2 CPU doesn't really show much significant upgrade over the more mainstream 8cx Gen 2 either. If Qualcomm turns the SD 888 or even the SD 870 into a Windows 10 ARM-compatible version, that would be sweet.

last time I've used my laptops was literally years ago.
i dont need a keyboard, i need a portable lightweight device with good display, speakers and battery life mainly for multimedia and occasional gaming.

And, in China and India, in addition to other countries like here in Egypt people do use their phones for everything. I just fail to see the value of tablets. The only people I know why use tablets are old people who have a normal old feature mobile phone. Having both a tablet and a smartphone is really silly IMHO. Tablets are like downgraded laptops. Unless they can do everything a laptop can, but then why does MacBooks exist?

you can fit all the s20 ultra hardware into s10 size, but you will end up with a thickness like the z5 compact .
with majority of consumers wanting slim phones it is not a good business choice to make such a phone. explanation is not necessary.

It's simply that Apple doesn't want to let their own products cannibalise each other's sales by putting a touch-capable of version of MacOS into iPad Pro or MacBook, which is a huge shame IMO.

.. yeah iPadOS really needs to get better than what it is right now in order to turn the current gen. iPad Pro into a proper, versatile "pro" grade productivity machine. "But some people have different needs and not everyone want MacOS" wouldn't be a great excuse when it fails to offer even basic features like external drive formatting, multi-window support for more than 3 foreground apps, the extended display mode when connected to an external monitor, or a support for desktop apps? Sure the display is amazing and great for creative professionals (illustrators, photographers), but then for those who use PS on a desktop or a laptop this thing is borderline useless because the iPad version of is still severely handicapped in terms of features.

And then the companies makes a good size phone, on the cost of all the hardware. The mini/compact/lite models. Why not make s22 ultra in the S10e size but with the s22 ultra hardware? Oh, smaller screen automatically means worse hardware. Great logic. And then there's the TV resolution on the phone screen. Again something controlled by the Asian world, because they use their phone for everything.

Why don't Apple start working on a touch-friendly version of macOS for iPad Pro? Leave iPadOS for the mini, vanilla, and Air models only. If they really want to advertise the iPad Pro as "your next computer is not a computer", it should have a proper desktop OS, not a reworked tablet version of a smartphone OS. I'd rather buy a full-on Windows 10 tablet like the Microsoft Surface Pro 7/X and also the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable in a heartbeat instead.
