why is it that every body rates the rubbish i phone the 8s is a suburb phone for £200 the i phone silly price is un beliveable
i allso have a nokia lumia 920 witch make the i phone look like its going bakwards

It is accurate and nokia drive the most cities compared to rivals. It can also work offline. So go ahead and buy a WP now.

Yuuup, 22 Oct 2012Windows phones reliable?How many issues were there with the... moreI have a Lumia 800, a Galaxy Note, an Xperia Play and a HTC Desire C, I've also had a HTC Desire (original) and an Xperia S. The Nokia is the best built and most issue free of them all. I love both platforms but for different reasons.
The Lumia has great build quality and in terms of reliability has Android beaten hands down. Android is much more customizable and has a much bigger app market but is far less reliable, even if sticking to stock apps.
The only time Android really competes on reliability is on custom ROMs which is a real shame for the average user.

my htc droid is only for calls, sms and internet. i have an ipod touch for apps. as a droid and ios user,i have to say ios is still the best when it comes to apps and multimedia

Also windows dont have a good map application in response to google maps which is almost a neccessity now.......Nokia maps is also lacking behind in India........This is holding me back from buying a Windows Mobile.....Do correct me if I'm wrong

You need to find custom roms and complicate your life. Even Google acknowledged that Android is laggy. Project butter basically says that every version before JB was laggy. In other words, 95% of Android users are on laggy software.
