Atleast budget Xiaomi devices have good mid range processor, Samsung cuts costs and provides even worse processors.           What is this virtual memory crap? Windows swap files?
          Which were the norms back when phone's had 500mB ram.
          So you'd root it and use swp files?.
          And now they're doing it for as huge as 6-8GB phones?
          Why? Android doesn't even let any app consume more than 3-4GB of RAM . ALSO THESE CHINESE PHONES ROM kills every 4-5th app by default and if you're having a game open it'll kill every 3rd app.
          So instead of setting" Lmk" so tight. Why don't they consider optimizating their Ram management?
          4GB is enough for any android these days.
          Unless you're playing a game that uses half of it as a VRAM.
          Even then it's plenty enough that you don't need swap files on 6+GB phones

I've played genshin impact on my xiaomi and I never lag, ever or have issues with Rams. Even when I play call of duty mobile it just doesn't happen. I feel alot of your issues are what you have downloaded and how you are managing your phone. 6gb of ram is all you really need although 8 is fine. Personally I feel xiaomi only added this feature as a sales gimmick, it really isn't needed.

                              XCIV, 30 Jun 2021That how bad the performance of MIUI is. xDUmm no, miui is actually pretty solid and I find it hard to go back to ANY other UI. I feel the virtual ram isn't needed in the 10 but might be a cool thing to have for extreme gaming. In my opinion Miui is the best thing going for mobile. And this is coming from someone who owns a Sony Xperia 1mk 2, Samsung Galaxy S21 and I own a xiaomi redmi 10 pro. Yes the first two phones perform the best for gaming but the xiaomi can do things with it's UI the other 2 can't ever do. I'm a mobile gamer, I always buy and try different phones. It's what I enjoy. I have a collection of phones I currently don't use just because I wanted to try them. Maybe you've had a bad experience with it for whatever reason, but from my personal experience, people having problems with technology that a majority of others aren't is probably because the person having "said" problem doesn't even understand technology to begin with.

                                We had this back when most Android still has 256MB and 512MB of RAM... I guess manufacturers now running out of more "features" to sell

                                        Brooo I second you. U r so accurate about Exynos but I'd like to add that even the Flagship exynos are extremely bad. I purchased S20 FE and was excited about it but sadly got the Exynos version in my country... Used it for 6 months and its extremely bad battery and heat up issues due to normal level processing made me cry everyday lol... I even did a side by side comparsion of Genshin Impact to chk out its Processor with Redmi Note 9s (SD 720g chipset).... On S20 FE exynos even on lowest settings it lagged badly and heated up a lot but on the other hand Note 9s handeled it very well on Medium settings.

                                        In short: Samsung Exynos S*cks and hardly manages its own bloated UI lol
